BROOKDALE ARTISTS WORKSHOP PRESENTS:“PAINTINGS AND DRAWINGS” AT THE MONTCLAIR PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Montclair Public Library’s popular art series continues with the “Brookdale Artists Workshop” on view in the Montclair Public Library Gallery, 50 South Fullerton Avenue, during Library hours from March 3 through March 30. An art reception is scheduled in the gallery for the artists on March 3, 2018 from 2pm - 6pm.

As you walk through the Gallery enjoy a breathtaking exhibit that includes works by noted artists: Richard Toglia, Luis Gallinat, Marcy Sabo, Teri M. Bartolo, Chris Knight, Robyn Burns, Felice Celikyol and Janice Szczyglinsky/Accles. These works of art are made up of a variety of subjects and styles, from realism, impressionistic and abstraction, to symbolism and commentary, using a wide range of mediums and materials. Whatever your taste in art you’re sure to see something you’ll like.

The Brookdale "Open Studio” meets every Tuesday, 10pm - 3pm and is in residence at the Brookfield Reformed Church located at 10 Bellevue Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. The entrance is located next to Brookdale Park on the border of Upper Montclair. Everyone is welcome that is interested in working as an artist in an open space. All mediums and skill levels are welcome.

Richard Toglia acts as guide, mentor and technical aid and has taught at the Adult Schools of Montclair and West Caldwell, Arts Unbound of Orange, NJ as well as The Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts.
