Mistakes happen. You spill something on your canvas; you overexpose your film; part of the sculpture you are working on suddenly collapses, and yet... upon second look, you realize the work is now all the more intriguing because of it.
For this exhibit, we seek work in which chance played a significant role in the process and/or outcome, and which led you to examine your work in a new way or take a different approach moving forward. All visual media are welcome: take this opportunity to share your "happy accidents," whether they occurred while painting, drawing, sculpting, photographing, or creating mixed media.
