Mayor Mauro G. Tucci and the Department of Parks and Recreation are excited to announce a family event for music lovers everywhere to enjoy!   “LIGHTS OUT” will take the stage on June 17, 2021 for the Recreation Department’s first Summer Concert of 2021!  This concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at Memorial Park 1 (Mud Hole) located on the corner of Vreeland Ave and Passaic Ave.

These high-energy performers are sure to keep residents moving all night long! “LIGHTS OUT” is a four-part vocal group that is being hailed as "America's #1 Tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons". This popular multi-talented group has been entertaining audiences for years by focusing on the art of harmony and the pure sound of voices.  With their infectious personalities, and their love of meeting the people who see them perform, LIGHTS OUT shows are a MUST-SEE!

“Our concerts provide free entertainment for the community, offering a variety of performers in a great outdoor atmosphere” stated Mayor Tucci.  In the spirit of summertime relaxation, these special summer performances emphasize family recreation in a tranquil outdoor setting. Whether you come to see old friends, enjoy great food, or listen to the sounds of great music you don’t want to miss this one-of-a-kind event.

Feel free to bring your lawn chair or a blanket.  Zeppoles, Ice Cream, and more will be available for purchase.  Free Balloon Artists will also be available for children to enjoy. A rain date has been scheduled for August 17th.  Social Distancing guidelines will be enforced and masks must be worn.   If you would like further information on this event, please contact the Recreation Department at (973)284-4966, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
