Montclair Sends Relief Supplies to Puerto Rico

The Township of Montclair sent two full truckloads containing hundreds of pounds of supplies last Friday to a hurricane relief collection location in Newark, NJ. The supplies will be shipped to Puerto Rico as part of a relief effort to assist those affected by Hurricane Maria.

The Montclair community donated diapers, baby food, flashlights, batteries, first aid supplies and feminine hygiene products during the townshipwide collection drive last week.

In addition, Councilor-at-Large Robert Russo brought donations from Montclair to a Red Cross fundraising event over the weekend, where he was also interviewed for FiOS1 NJ:
