Burglary/Theft:
06/21/2018 (Undercliff Drive). Burglary to a residence. Access was gained through an unlocked door. A purse containing cash was taken.
06/21/2018 (Nishuane Road). A red Honda ATV was stolen from the rear of a residence. The ATV was secured with a lock that was cut.
06/22/2018 (Pine Street). Theft from an unlocked motor vehicle. Cash was stolen from the inside.
06/24/2018 (Bloomfield Avenue). Burglary to an apartment. Jewelry and a filing cabinet was taken.
06/24/2018 (Frink Street). Theft of a locked purple mountain bike (unknown brand) was stolen.
Vandalism:
06/21/2018 (Greenwood Avenue). A computer printer was thrown through the rear window of a motor vehicle.
06/25/2018 (Cooper Avenue). A pane of glass was shattered on a rear sliding door.
Arrests:
06/22/2018 (Claremont Avenue). Ms. Alexis Bennet, (24 y/o Montclair) and Mr. Damon Woods (22 y/o Newark) were arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, and Obstruction following an incident on Claremont Avenue.
06/23/2018 (Bloomfield Avenue). Mr. David Blakely (28 y/o Montclair) was arrested and charged with Shoplifting from a Bloomfield Avenue business.
06/24/2018 (Bloomfield Avenue). Ms. Kimberly Albea-Smith (48 y/o Gaithersburg, MD) was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop.
06/24/2018 (Upper Mountain Avenue). Mr. Brian Borth (26 y/o Irvington) was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass and Harassment.
Miscellaneous:
06/25/2018 (Lloyd Road). A Lloyd Road resident observed an unknown black male rummaging through his vehicle parked in the driveway. When confronted the male fled to a waiting light colored Honda Civic and fled the area. Responding officers located this vehicle and attempted to stop it. The vehicle was pursued into Bloomfield, NJ before the pursuit was called off by Officers.
