Live Music is ALWAYS in Montclair - at Outpost in the Burbs

Singer-songwriter Damien Jurado, lauded for the serenity and wistfulness of his sound, is set to play Montclair's Outpost in the Burbs on May 18th. Please let me know if you're interested in providing preview or live review coverage!

Damien Jurado's new album 'The Horizon Just Laughed’ will be available for purchase on May 4th (and available to stream via Spotify, Apple Music, and Pandora on July 6th) via Secretly Canadian. It was featured on Pitchfork's Guide to New Albums: Spring 2018 -- listen to the acoustically scenic lead single "Over Rainbows and Rainier" HERE and its follow-up "Allocate” HERE, called a “lovely, elegant ballad” by Stereogum.

'The Horizon Just Laughed' is Jurado's first self-produced album in a 20+ year career, finding him more personal and more rooted than ever before. The album feels like a beautiful collage -- its narrative pieced together through letters and postcards, with each part contributing to its greater whole, and providing snapshots of one’s journey to find a sense of place and connection to a changing world.
