Every Wednesday Matinee, a classic film series presented in its auditorium. In December 2018, We will be watching forgotten Christmas classics. The movies are as follows:

December 5: Christmas in Connecticut – Starring: Barbara Stanwyck, Dennis Morgan, Sydney Greenstreet. A food writer who has lied about being the perfect housewife must try to cover her deception when her boss and a returning war hero invite themselves to her home for a traditional family Christmas. (1945, 101 minutes, black & white).

December 12 Holiday Affair – Starring: Robert Mitchum, Janet Leigh, Wendell Corey. A young widow is romanced by a sales clerk whom she inadvertently got fired. (1949, 87 minutes, black & white).

December 19: It happened on 5th Avenue — Starring: Don DeFore, Ann Harding, Charles Ruggles. A homeless New Yorker moves into a mansion and along the way he gathers friends to live in the house with him. Before he knows it, he is living with the actual home owners. (1947, 116 minutes, black & white).

December 26: All mine to give – Starring: Glynis Johns, Cameron Mitchell, Rex Thompson .

In this fact-based drama set in the 1850s, the Eunsons move from Scotland to the American Midwest, where they live happily and run a successful business, until the untimely deaths of both the father and mother. Now orphaned, the six Eunson kids must fend for themselves. Robbie, the oldest, does his best to care for his siblings while he searches for foster parents kind enough to accept such a large family into their home. (1957, 103 minutes, color).
