Are you a die-hard New York Yankees fan? If so, then consider attending the Book Talk and Signing with Anthony Florio, author of the new book "Yankee Batboy: From Little Italy to Yankee Stadium" on Wednesday, August 29 at 6:30 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.
Florio was a Batboy for the New York Yankees in 1962, 1963 and 1964. He will share stories about growing up in the Little Italy section of New York, travelling with the New York Yankees each summer and also during three World Series. He will also discuss his experiences with such N.Y. Yankees greats as Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Roger Maris, Whitey Ford, Joe Pepitone and many others.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing and Florio will also answer questions about his experiences with the New York Yankees.
